Sensory art for slow living, where texture, rhythm and calmness meet

Created by British multidisciplinary artist Amanda Deadman, Sensory & Slow explores texture, light, movement and atmosphere through layered relief artworks designed to bring calm and sensory richness into interior spaces.

Working from her Oxfordshire studio, Amanda creates one-of-a-kind sculptural works using polymer clay, layered watercolour paper, resin and mixed media. Inspired by coral formations, flowing water, butterflies, shifting dunes and organic natural patterns, each piece is built slowly and intuitively through meditative, repetitive processes that celebrate stillness, detail and tactile beauty.

Alongside her sculptural practice, Amanda also paints in watercolour and acrylic, creating nature-inspired collections informed by photographic studies of the natural world.

At the heart of Sensory & Slow is the belief that art can shape atmosphere as much as appearance. Through texture, shadow, movement and carefully balanced composition, the work encourages slower observation, quiet reflection and immersion in the restorative beauty of form, pattern and light.
