Part of the Beachcomber collection, Pod is inspired by the quiet treasures found along the shoreline and the intricate patterns hidden within the natural world. Reminiscent of sea glass, worn shells, seed pods and coral fragments shaped by time and tide, the artwork explores the beauty of repetition, organic form and subtle variation. Individually hand-shaped translucent elements are arranged in a harmonious circular composition, where layers of soft blues, pearl whites and delicate metallic details create a gentle sense of movement and luminosity.

Each sculptural form is carefully crafted and assembled by hand, creating a richly textured surface that responds to changing light throughout the day. Suspended against a softly painted background, the clustered elements appear to float within the frame, inviting slower observation and contemplative viewing. Balancing coastal influences with contemporary sculptural form, Pod reflects an ongoing exploration of sensory calm, tactile beauty and the restorative qualities of objects gathered, weathered and shaped by nature over time.
