The Jewelkeeper's Elephant is a celebration of adornment, patience and the quiet pleasure of creating beauty one small detail at a time. At its heart sits a hand-sculpted turquoise elephant, decorated with delicate botanical motifs that flow across its surface like an embroidered garden. Accents of metallic gold highlight each leaf and flower, transforming the sculpture into a precious object reminiscent of treasured keepsakes and ceremonial ornaments.

Nestled amongst clusters of gleaming golden beads, sparkling crystal-like gems and individually crafted decorative elements, the elephant appears to rest within a jewel-filled sanctuary. The combination of soft turquoise, warm gold and reflective crystals creates a sense of richness and wonder, while the intricate surface invites closer observation.

Created as part of the Decoration Meditation collection, the artwork reflects the slow, repetitive process at the heart of my practice. Each element has been shaped, placed and refined by hand, allowing the act of making to become a mindful and meditative experience. The finished piece celebrates both the beauty of ornamentation and the restorative nature of focused creativity.

The sculpture is sealed with a gloss varnish to enhance its depth and luminosity and is presented in a white shadow-box frame without glazing, allowing the dimensional details and textures to be fully appreciated.
